Each year, the University of Cincinnati’s Alumni Association chooses a student from the Student Alumni Council (SAC) to help bring the vision for that year’s homecoming to life.

My goal was to create a visual identity that effectively communicates the true spirit of Homecoming and University of Cincinnati pride. After rounds of concepting, “Eye of the Bearcat” was selected as the theme for Homecoming 2024 as it reflected the honor of being a Bearcat and made notion to events happening in Cincinnati that same weekend, Blink: A Festival of Art and Light.

 

MOODBOARDING

Pulled imagery from past homecomings, other UC Alumni Association initiatives, and photography to build a vision for Homecoming 2024.

 

CREATING CONTEXT

UC Alumni come back for one weekend a year to celebrate their alma mater and re-visit the places that defined their college years, whether that is on campus or beyond. Creating a theme in mind of both tradition AND new innovation - showcasing the changes in UC’s campus and nodding to the new exciting event hosted in Cincinnati, Blink!
